Mostly Scrap is used for reprocessing means any Metal Scrap is
suitable is suitable for reprocessing or recycling. Lead Acid
Battery Plates damages during battery manufacture are placed
in a trough having an upward slope.
Lead Batteries not only have Lead Plates but they also have
corrosive hydrochloric acid which is contaminated with Lead.
The Lead Plates are grids with the spaces filled with Lead
Oxide. This Lead Oxide breaks up and forms very small
particles that can easily be inhaled.
